The Hermitage is the former residence of the seventh President of the United States, Andrew Jackson. Owned by Jackson between 1804 and 1845 and turned into a museum in 1889, the house was once home to 150 slaves.

See the original log cabin that the Jackson family first lived in in 1804 and trace the growth of a frontier farm into a vast cotton plantation. Jackson's life story and those of the slaves who worked on the farm are also revealed.
