    Opened in 1989, Tandanya is the oldest cultural centre in Australia that is fully owned and managed by Aboriginal people. Visitors can meet Torres Strait Islander people, view colourful art exhibitions and watch didgeridoo and dance performances.



    After visiting the Tandanya cultural centre's many displays, purchase some Aboriginal art and craft in the Tandanya Shop and enjoy traditional bush tucker with a contemporary twist in the Tandanya Café.
