Sutton Park is Birmingham's largest park, covering 2400 acres consisting of woodland, heathland and wetland. Just 10km (6 miles) from the city centre, it's a perfect place to get away from the urban sprawl and tune into nature.
Sutton Park has retained many ancient features including prehistoric mounds and ruins as well as a Roman road, making it of great interest to historical enthusiasts. Visitors can explore the park by walking, cycling or horse riding, they can also fish, canoe, sail and fly kites to their heart's content.
