    Helsinki:

Suomenlinna, off Helsinki's southern coastline, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. With a history of occupation dating back to 1748, the area resonates with over 250 years of military history, aptly illustrated by its name, which literally means "Finland's Fortress."

Jump on a boat from Helsinki and discover the variety that Suomenlinna has to offer - there's much more than just the impressive fortress. At the end of the Swedish period, it was Finland's second biggest city after Turku so take time away from the beach to explore the collection of museums.
