Riga is home to one of the world's largest and best-preserved collections of Art Nouveau buildings. Along with Alberta Street and Elizabetes Street, Strelnieku Street is the place to stroll among some glorious examples of this decorative architectural style.
Look skyward for carved organic shapes, sculpted figures and pretty balconies. Good examples can be seen at Strelnieku Street's numbers 1, 2, 4a, 6, 13 and 17.
