The tallest building in Havana at 138 feet, the José Martí Memorial, dominates the Plaza de la Revolución. The capital's largest square is also the site of many of Fidel Castro's speeches and contains a massive mural of Che Guevara.
Spread around the square are many of Havana's key buildings, like the Palacio de Revolución, José Martí National Library, the National Theatre and the Ministerio del Interior with its mural of Che Guevara. Go up the memorial for an excellent view of the area.
