    Strasbourg:

An unbelievably picturesque quarter of Strasbourg, Petite France reveals years of Germanic and French habitation with its architecturally unique group of buildings. The area has plenty of restaurants as well as an intricate network of cobbled streets and points of interest.

Petite France has lots of delightful (and very Germanic) restaurants and beer houses, many with outdoor, canal-side seating. From the quiche/pizza crossover the flammekuchen to the piles of sausages and ham, the food will satisfy your appetite at least twice over!

Should you wish to work off your tasty stodge, walking alongside the water, visitors will chance upon the Covered Bridges and the Vauban Barrage. The former is dominated by four 14th-century towers and the latter offers a panoramic ridge from which to view the city.
