This large interactive science museum, in suburban North York, explores the workings of robots, the mysteries of space and the principles of electricity. Ontario Science Centre staff demonstrate paper-making, glass-blowing and lasers.
Opened in 1969, the museum was one of the first anywhere to take a hands-on approach to its exhibitions. The centre organises a variety of science-related exhibitions and also brings touring exhibitions to the city. It also has an IMAX cinema.
