Newtown Precinct, burnt down in 1904 to combat plague there, is reborn as a buzzing cultural ground offering music and theatre, art galleries, craft markets and nightlife. Attractions include Museum Africa, Nelson Mandela Bridge, Sci-Bono Discovery Centre and Market Theatre.
