A municipal pier dating to 1914 but renovated in the mid-90s, Navy Pier stretches 800 metres into Lake Michigan, and is full of shops, restaurants and entertainment. It includes a giant Ferris Wheel, Shakespeare Theater and a stained-glass museum.
