Downtown Montreal Museum of Fine Arts hosts excellent temporary exhibitions in two pavilions facing each other. The permanent collection ranges from medieval European painting to Inuit sculpture. Highlights include Canadian landscapes by the Group of Seven and Québécois abstract expressionists.
