    Darwin:

The Darwin Military Museum at East Point was set up to display photographs and artefacts from the city's wartime history. It includes exhibits from the Second World War, when more than 300 Darwinians were killed in raids by the Japanese.

Over 60 raids took place on Darwin between 1942 and 1943. The interpretive centre at the East Point Military Museum helps unearth a little more about what happened during this time.
