    The Larco Museum in Pueblo Libre houses thousands of well-preserved Pre-Columbian artefacts from the native American Chimú, Mochica, Lambayeque and Inca cultures. See elaborate gold ceremonial headwear and stone drinking vessels before having lunch in the museum's fine garden restaurant.



    The collection is divided into specific rooms: Gold and Jewels; the Stone Room, with large-scale temple and fortress sculptures from the pre-ceramic era (8000-2000 AD); the Vault, containing detailed gold and silver jewellery embedded with semi-precious stones; Ceramics; Metals; Cultures; Textiles, and Erotic.
