Although Shakespeare's famous love story is fictional, tourists flock to Juliet's House to stand on the balcony under which Romeo wooed his love. A bronze statue of Shakespeare's heroine stands in the courtyard of this medieval house in central Verona.
Inside the house are furnishings from the 16th and 17th centuries, frescoes and paintings - all relating to the story of Romeo and Juliet - as well as Renaissance ceramics from Verona.
