    Philadelphia:

Home of the famous Liberty Bell and "birthplace of America", this 45 acre park is a must-see Philadelphia landmark. One of the buildings of most interest within the Independence National Historic Park is Independence Hall.

A World Heritage Site, this is the place where the Declaration of Independence and the US Constitution were created, the Articles of Confederation ratified and where the Liberty Bell resides. From 1790 to 1800, Philadelphia was the US capital and Independence Hall was its hub.

Benjamin Franklin - one of the most important men in American history - lived on what is now the grounds of the Park. The site where his house once stood is now dedicated to teaching others about his life and work.

The park grounds are rather large and require at least a day or two to appreciate fully. However, for a fully historical experience, stay there and you can find almost anything on the grounds that you need.
