    Los Angeles:

You have probably caught a glimpse of the Greystone Mansion in a few Hollywood blockbusters. The famous Tudor-style 16-acre mansion, built for the son of a prominent oil baron, includes a stunning park and manicured grounds.

The estate has a long and colourful history. Designed by Gordon Kaufmann in 1928, it's equipped with 55 rooms and has been leased to the American Film Institute since 1965. There are two public areas on the ground: the formal gardens with their centrepiece fountain and the pool and inner courtyard area. Special events on grounds include the Catskills West Theatre and arts festival.
