Close to the Castel San Pietro is the multi-tiered Giardino Giusti gardens, designed by Agostino Giusti. The formal 16th-century layout and geometrical designs of terraces, avenue of cypresses, fountains, statuary and staircases inspired, among many, Mozart and Goethe.
