Founded in 1981 by Palma City Council, the Fundació Pilar i Joan Miró (Pilar and Joan Miró Foundation) houses original works by Joan Miró. The collection, donated by the artist himself, includes paintings, drawings and sculptures.
The Fundació Pilar i Joan Miró is also home to the Miró Workshops - spaces where young talented artists can develop their creative skills in engraving, lithography, photography, ceramics and much more.
