    Tel Aviv:

Bequeathed to the state by Israel's first Prime Minister, Ben Gurion, this unassuming house in Tel Aviv serves as a heritage site and institute for research. It offers an insight into both the man and the country's history.

Located in what was the first workers' neighbourhood and established on Jewish National Fund land, the residence's second floor is where the visitor is afforded a glimpse into the private world of Ben Gurion. This floor houses four library rooms, containing vast collections of books and periodicals, totalling 20,000 volumes in many different languages from ancient Greek to Russian.

On the first floor are the kitchen and "Paula's room", where the Minister spent his last days prior to being hospitalised.
