    Reykjavik:

The Reykjavík Art Museum is spread over three separate sites around the city: at Ásmundarsafn, Hafnarhus and Kjarvalsstadir. Each building focuses on one artist as well as promoting visiting shows and temporary displays.

See the permanent exhibition of works by Johannes S Kjarval, one of Iceland's best loved artists, at the Kjarvalsstadir building. Other Icelandic artists featured in the museum's extensive selection of works include Erró and Asmunder Sveinsson.

Continuing its commitment to supporting and promoting the works of Icelandic artists, the museum is constantly acquiring new works of art and its ever-expanding collection makes it worth repeat visits.
