As indicated above, I cannot say enough about Old Jaffa Hostel, Tel Aviv. Atmosphere, customer service and appreciation, knowledgeable of area, great with suggestions, and, recognition of you when you return, thus making you feel at home. The dormitories were very secure, and all the people I ran into were very friendly, courteous, and a joy to be with. It was equally exciting to be able to enjoy the "roof", be in the "flea market area", and, oh, the shores of the Mediterranean, just a few feet away. The sunrises, the sunsets, the convenience near grocery stories, and, shops. The ease getting back to the Hostel, after going places. The day tours from the Hostel. Well, I will stay there again, for sure. Great rates!!!! Like being in college again, and, all the areas at night with good music on the streets! This is also the comment for the stay at the beginning of my journey. Satira Quarles |

...it would be so easy and helpful for guest to have at least a hook in the shower ..and sleeping area ..to hang up towels etc..in short....the attention to small details is simple. important...but missed by this and many hostels....which leaves the guest, or, more importantly, customers, with the impression that there is not due care...and the result can be and usually is poor reviews...recommendations as a place of last resort... |
