Cuban Christmas Fever
With its enthusiastic history, Trinidad is a romantic atmosphere with its unique architecture and decorated with red tiles roofed houses painted with pastel colours and multicolour facades. It makes you go back in the colonial time. Cubans celebrate their Christmas through Buena Noche with their own family, eating pork and dancing till early in the morning. Cubans celebrate their holidays in their own homes and apartments despite of their economic status they love to dance and party. At especially big parties they will roast a pig and wash it down with Cuban rum. The rum is oftentimes of the 'homemade' variety, so watch out, as it's got a kick.
The Cubans are the best salsa teachers, so if you plan to do a dance lesson, learn it the Cuban way. Spending your Christmas in Cuba is overwhelming, you can party all night without spending too much of your money.
