In our historic guesthouse, you can feel how fishermen have lived 100 years agå. We offer a privat room, shared bathroom and kitchen, livingroom and a chimney-room. Walkingtrails are starting in front of the house.

Holmvik Brygge has been an fishfactory in many years. After the house was abandet in more that 30 years we started to rebuild it again and changet it into a guesthouse. We mostly used original material for the recovering og Holmvik Brygge Today we offer 9 double rooms.

On 200m2 you have access to 3 showers, 2 WC, a big kitchen, a chimney-room and a living room with a view on the habour.

We are living beside our guesthouse and it will be all the time possible to contact us. In summertime we do have a reception in our restaurant in the first floor. Because we do also run our own guideservice we can allways offer you information about all acticeties on Vesterålen inlands.

Holmvik Brygge is places in the middel of Nyksund, a fishingvillage wich was abandoned for more than 30 years. Holmvik Brygge was the firs house wich was recovered and become now the oldes comany in town. We like to show you the history of norwegian coastel culture. From Nyksund you can walk the famous walkingtrail to Stø, called the Dronningruta.
