About the location
The nice thing about our hostel: it is very centrally located. The lines M4 and M13 (24/7) have a stop almost in front of our door and take you quickly to the city.

Within splitting distance, you find several supermarktes, nice taverns and bars, a cinema as well as the Deck 5, the first Skybeach of Berlin - at the housetop of the shoppingcenter Arkaden, you can furthermore enjoy the view with a tasty cocktail.

Almost around the corner, you can visit Weißen See, a sea with a beautiful park and a beach bar. There you can swim in the sea or - if the weather is not that good - rent a boat.

Furthermore, the Brotfabrik is not far away. Under one roof, you find many things to spend your time: cinema, theatre, photogalery as well as bars.

And for those of you who are into Mies van der Rohe: in the neighbourhood, you find the Villa Lemke, which was built by Mies van der Rohe in 1932. There, exhibitions take place in regular terms. Refugium der Schönheit is the slogan in 2010.

Nice hostel, stayed in a 6 bed dorm and was pleasantly suprised, toilets and showers clean, kitchen a bit rubbish so we didn't use it. Definitely good value for the dorms but not for the private rooms.

Overall was an excellent place to stay. Was slightly far out from the city centre, and could be difficult at night getting to Kreuzberg and Schoeneberg. However, staff were wonderful and friendly, and had a lovely time.
