Situated in the city centre right between the train station and the old town, both just a 10 minutes walk away, YoHo is the perfect spot to explore the world cultural heritage city of Salzburg.
Our friendly, multilingual staff will be happy to provide you with free city maps, directions and lots of good advice so you can make the most out of your stay.

On 3 floors you’ll find spacious dorms (8, 6, 4 bed, male, female, mixed) as well as modern private rooms with comfortable beds, key-card operated lockers and fully renovated showers.

Chill out in our cosy common room equipped with comfortable couches and a flat screen TV,
watch the Sound of Music movie daily at 10:30am in our TV room,
plan your next trip and stay in touch with your family and friends in our internet café or
party together with backpackers from all around the world in our hostel bar with great happy hour deals!

Please note that meals are not included in the room rates but we offer:
- Small Breakfast for only € 1,50
- All-You-Can-Eat Breakfast Buffet for € 3,- including unlimited tea, coffee, orange juice, bread, ham, cheese, jam, honey, cereals, yoghurt and more
- Dinner from € 3,50 to € 6,90 (classics and Austrian specialties)

If you want to prepare your own food there are also cooking facilities open for guest use outside of our meal times (11am – 5pm).

    There are 3 toilets for a whole floor, therefore they are dirty.

    15 minutes walking distance to the old town square. The kitchen is very small, only a counter with two microwaves, no stove so can only cook some easy dishes. But they have a cafe providing breakfast and dinner. The communal area is very good because i do make some friends while sitting over there. There is a female staff who is very rude. I was thinking about something and thus didn't notice and use the emergency exit. I did realise after that and apologized to her. She doesn't really need to talk to me in such a rude way.

    Yoho International was a great hostel with perfect location. We could cover all the main places on foot as they were closer to the hostel. The rooms were good and the breakfast was nice.

    Great female showers (4 hairdryers), very good breakfast (affordable 3,50 euro) in a old fashion dining room and Christmas decorations all around. Not so comfortable common room, but I saw some people sleeping there for hours, so I guess it is manageable.

    This is a very well-situated hostel which fulfills the basic requirements. I was not too impressed with the tiny-minded attitude of the staff, who tended to blame each other for any oversights and mistakes. The towel rental is unduly complicated.

    Friendly staff, cheap and nice breakfast; dinner is also available. I liked watching Sounds of Music in hostel while having dinner. The post box in hostel is also cool! And you don't need to rent a locker for the safe box, cause you can lock it with your key card.

    Decent place in a decent part of town. It was run like a hotel so the rooms and bathroom were very clean.

    Key card doors and lockers, wi-fi, bar, food, 5mins away from old town, easy to get to from station. Nice place, friendly atmosphere. One of the best things is the free map giving you a couple of walking tour options - oh, beds very comfortable!

    Location is good, but not easy to find at all! Directions are not clear the way they explain. Really nice and cheap breakfast!!! I din't like "mixed" restrooms.
