Hostel Colonial is a cosy and authentic hostel in the heart of downtown Buenos Aires. With the friendly multilingual staff, combined with a chilled-out backpacker atmosphere, will secure a nice stay at our hostel.

Our staff are a mix of European and South Americans, and together we cover Spanish, English, French, Portuguese, Swedish, Finnish, German and Norwegian.

A rich breakfast is served to all guests and there is free-wifi access in the whole hostel.

Most of the rooms are light and have access to a balcony. The hostel has a capacity of just less than 50 persons including 9 rooms in total. All rooms are equipped fans, lockers and heaters and some private rooms have air-conditioners. There's a common kitchen that can be used by the guests, and alcoholic drinks and beverages can be bought in the bar.

Hostel Colonial is located in the heart of downtown Buenos Aires. We are situated one block from Florida and Lavalle, the liveliest shopping streets in the city. Also the hostel is two only blocks from Avenida Corrientes, famous for it’s many theatres and tango milongas.

The historical district of San Telmo and the modern Puerto Madero are only 10 minutes away by foot. Also the trendy Palermo neighborhood can be reached within 15 minutes by public transport.

Most of the main bus and metro lines connecting the whole city, are within 5 blocks from the hostel. The main bus/train terminal in Retiro as well as the ferry lines connecting Argentina and Uruguay and only within 10-15 minutes by foot from the hostel.
