Good location, but not many activities, not so easy to meet people People of all ages in the hostel
Good :)
Almost very nice ;)
Good hostel! God bless the people that hold it!
One of best hostel in the world! Clean, comfortable and very kinf people. I've met a lot of wonderful guys and girls, and someone became a friend. Evereyone who'll stay in Madrid would better sleep in La Posada!
Nice place with interesting people, great location.
Its an awesome hostel with awesome people. Very near to metro & the staff would guide you what to do & what not in Madrid. Celebrated a staff's b.day as we pub crawled over Madrid. The hostel arranges it all at night. A must stay place.
Really a nice hostel, good position, the staffs are quite friendly :) Breakfast is okay. But as they provide fridge and la cuisine, so you have more options. I like the ambiance a lot, which makes it so easy to have conversations with other guests :) Next time when i come to visit Madrid, surely i will stay there again
The hostel was good, but there was a man in the reception desk always in a bad mood. He was not willimg to help me, as a guest, most of times. Except for this guy, the hostel is good.
Overall our stay was good. There was a great atmosphere and a cool social aspect to the hostel. I would recommend this hostel especially to those travelling alone as i found it very easy to meet people
Wonderful hostel. Staff are incredibly friendly and resourceful. There are activities every day that are cheap and so much fun! Awesome central location. I would definitely stay in La Posada de Huertas again :)
High recommended.
This is a basic hostel, but clean and with friendly staff near the Atocha main train station. The major problem is 1) there's no real loungy common room (only chairs in the lobby, where you use internet) and 2) there are children who stay up late, and are very loud running and yelling - not exactly relaxing. Otherwise, great!
Exceptional location in very artsy neighborhood with lots of funky outdoor seating mini-plazas, ...and literally within short walking distances (or Metro, if you like) of just about everything important and fun in Madrid. This is a super clean hostel without being restrictive - it happens this way when you have a hard working, and client-oriented staff. Nice, nice free breakfasts worth at least $7-10. Staff gives lots of attention to organizing touring and in-house social events that really get hostelers mixing then off to clubs or just continue with fun in the hostel. Wi-Fi is real and the bank of 5 hostel PCs work well. Security is directly monitored 24/7 at the entry from the street. There has been on a few re view sites a bit of critique about room security being a touch complicated but i found it works well and dependably although there might be for some a brief learning curve. If staying more than a few days, I suggest buying an online 5/7 day Metro pass.
Great location, close to bars and sites. Very helpful staff. Great activities organized around having fun and getting to know each other. Met a lot of great people there, I highly recommend this place :).
there is not enough toilet on 2nd floor, only 2, and when someone take a shower, we cannot use the toilet.
good place to stay. it locates near the center of the city, and you can feel safe. if possible, i recommend you to go to the framenco show in sunday night because you can get 50% discount and it was really cool!
Some rooms are great, with windows and balconies and bathrooms, other rooms have no window, no bathroom. But they are all air conditioned. The position is perfect, centrical and all the main city attractions like Prado, Plaza Mayor, Plaza del Sol, Opera, Theatre... can be seen on foot. Kitchen is well equipped.
Overall I will rate about 85%, the staff is nice and helpful. Easy to find the hostel, it´s very close to metro.
I just love it! It's a great hostel :)
