This hostal is good just to spend the night, it's pretty clean. There's no breakfast, no fun factor, TV in room doesn't work. The best thing is position, metro and bus are close.

Very central: You can see Puerto del Sol through the windows. It's situated in a street with lots of bars and restaurants. You can close the doors of your room (and put on the airco) and you'll sleep well. The beds are good, also the shower was nice

I am unable to review this hostel as when I arrived they had no knowledge of my booking and no places available at the hostel. This was a real nuisance as I then had to seek alternative accommodation. I have two questions - 1 Who caused the problem - was it me or you or the hostel? 2 How do I gain a refund on my deposit as I had to pay the new hostel in full? Michael Godfrey

Our rooms were double booked - and we we not the only ones! Staff didnt speak any english but tried to do her best for us. Eventually found us a room at the grotty Hostel Bergantin opposite. Very Noisy and scruffy. Small and smelly. Never again.

This is a well located hostal, in the lively area near Sol Metro Station. The quality of the rooms is very good. It is what you'd expect of a basic hotel, but at hostal prices. The lady was very helpful to us whenever we asked questions, even though her English is not fluent and we don't speak any Spanish. We had room 8, looking over the C. Victoria street which was a nice view, so if you get a choice that would be a nice room to go for.
