    The room was very clean and the airco was silent enough to let it on during the night. It is located right in de middle of the centre of Madrid. Walking distance of musea and close to lots of restaurants and bars. The staff did hardly speak english, but was friendly. No breakfast or food in the hotel. It is located on the second floor, with a lift to reach that floor. We only used our room to sleep. Fun is in the city itself.

    Perfect in center of Madrid, nearby Sol. You can hear a bit from other rooms, but we slept quite well. We (54 and 51 of age)find El Pilar quite ok related to the price.

    Excellent location, nice and quiet room. Doesn't seem you are just a stone throw away from the crowded Puerta del Sol. Staff was very helpful.
