My opinion about this Hostel is postive. Is near Gran Via and Callao. The staff is very polite, hostel clean and a good shower!
It was a wonderful experience, the staff was great, the room was comfortable and it had great a/c. The hostal is central, in one of Madrid night spots, though it's surrounded by prostitutes. Nevertheless, an excellent choice.
Hostal is on the second floor. We had double room with shared WC. Unfortunately, the building was in scaffolding, so we couldn't open the window. However, room was light enough. Clean-up is everyday. The staff is so cute, they try to speak english, though don't understand it good. No discomfort for that week we were staying there.
Hostel Condestable is a nice hostel. Staffs don't speak English but are nice and tried to understand what I said in Spanish. The location is also nice. You can walk to major places like Plaza Mayor, Puerta del Sol and so on.

very clean and nice place, within walking distance of most attractions, the staff was helpful... I enjoyed my stay in this place. Bathroom a little too small but for a few nights was ok.
Easy to go to airport. near the bus sttion end metro.

unexpensive basic and clean, with central location and close to all amenities. staff are polite would certainly visit again.
This is fabulous hostal. The rooms are great, magic A/c. This place is wonderful value right in the middle of the city. The only negative is the street its on is not so good. It is safe though.
The area's a little shady, but it's still a great place... and it has A/C.
Very good place to go! I returned for a second time when I was in Madrid again. I can highly recommend this place.
The hostal is just 3 min from Grand Via street and is very easy to walk around or you can take metro. I was surpised how clean hostel was, and they also clean the room during the day and make a bed, which was nice :), I would stay in this hostel again, good value for money. Only one thing, on the way from metro to the hostel there are prostituets during the day or at night,before I booked the hostel I had read it on the website, so it didn't surpise me. The staff was very helpfull, and speaks English, or you can practise your Espanol :) By the way, I like hostelclub website, it's very easy to find a hotel, will you use you again when needed :) thank you
