good position, close to metro, good value for money, close to nice cafeteria and restaurants with reasonable prices. very nice and helpful staff. good price for this localization. no breakfast

Overall good choice if you have a dog! Need to prebook your parking or you end up paying more at a public one. Could have larger windows for a triple room and not missing the remote control for the air conditioning!
Has been a nice place to stay, this is my 2nd time in Rio De Castro, in a good position, it's cheap and the owner is very friendly and gives nice advices. I think that if you look very carefully, maybe you can find better alternatives, but for a quick stay in Barcelona it is OK.
Great and reasonable accommodation, very well located, adequate comfort, no problems at all, very nice owner. Highly recommended!!!
About a 15 min. walk from Rambla, pretty much like you are in an apartment, we had a separate exterior door to the entrance where you check in (which you cannot do before noon...). Staff don't always make your bed, but there is a cupboard in the hallway with extra tp and a bottle opener
Perfect for sleeping
The hostal was clean and in a convenient location. The room was good value for money. The only trouble we had was when our key card did not work, the proprietors are only at the hostal between 10am and 2pm so we had to call them and were given a code to use instead.
