Pros: ----- # Excellent Location, just few meters from La Ramblas # Staff's are excellent and 24X7 front desk. # Cleaned everyday. Cons: ---- # Room was little small than for 2 bed room.

Just a remark! When you arrive, the first night is already charged to your card. The charge is made in your local currency instead of in Euro although you do have the right to make that choice yourself. If you live in a non-Euro country this means your cost increases by 1-2 %. The difference goes into the pocket of the hostal´s bank.

Great location, nice staff. I really recommend this hostel.

  4. Ben From Australia On November 30, -0001

Very odd place. definitely not a party hostel. Big rooms, but it felt like we were staying in the house of the old man that ran the front counter. very nice guy, but his vibe pervades the whole place. More like a one-star hotel than a hostel. Bathrooms were crappy but internet was good.

  5. Alba From Italy On November 30, -0001

Nighttime staff doesn't speak English. Walls are a little thin. Hostel in narrow and at times dark street on one side, but really close to La Rambla on the other. Right across is a good ice-cream shop open till after midnight. There's a small "living room" with TV and one computer with Internet for free use.

Really noise, the walls are really thin.

Good value accommodation in a wonderful city.We only needed a clean and comfortable bed and room with no frills and this is what Ramos provided. A fantastic breakfast in the bakery almost next door, 7 euros for the two of us. We had a room with a balcony overlooking the square, a little bit noisy but what do you expect in a busy city. We would definitely go to Ramos again.

Great position, clean (they made our bed every day and give us clean towels), staff is ok - it's more as a hotel then a hostel, so if you coming as a couple or want to have your privacy it's great. We noticed garbage cans infront of the hostel but there wasn't so much noise!

the hotel was very cute..very nice staff and the room was clean. the only negative thing was, that it is very loud in barcelona the whole night..take oropax with you!

It is a very clean place and it is located in walking distance to the Las Ramblas where you have access to many things. Although there is only one computer, you can have free access to the internet. I would recommend and come back in the future.

Central position with loads of things to see and shops to buy from. Nice & friendly personnel, pretty clean & comfortable but the bed was a little small for tall persons like us :) A bit nosy during the day because of the small square in front of it & when the trash was lifted.

  13. Michal From Poland On November 30, -0001

Great location, clean and air conditioned :) We liked it.

  14. Marc From Germany On November 30, -0001

Very clean. Friendly staff. Good aircondition. Rooms to the front are a bit noisy, you should try to get a room with windows to the inner yard. Television, hair dryer, towels...wonderfull. Cashpoint right beneath the entrance.

  15. Nikolaos From Cyprus On November 30, -0001

I enjoyed my stay there. Everything was great. The position is also great. Really close to Las Ramblas and Green line metro, which takes you directly to a lot of attractions.

We had the suite, which had a very nice balcony. It was located one block off of the Ramblas. It was close to the Metro and Plaza Catlunya. We took the Tourist bus around town which had a stop at the Plaza. The Ramos was more like a hotel with a central desk and a few chairs. Not a place to mingle due to limited space. One common room with internet access. First experience using a hostel and I was very pleased. Listed as having A/C but was not turned on. We stayed during the first week of June, so it wasn't a problem. Saw lots of other hostels in the same street; these looked to be less expensive (more in the price range for students/younger people compared to the Ramos). The recycling bins were located on the street just outside the entrance. Woke up to the sound of bins being emptied.

It is a very nice hostel with a very high quality. It is secure and calm if you want to rest from crowds of city. I recommend it.
