Guests staying in our rooms have access to: fully fitted kitchens, providing everything necessary to cook your own meals, comfortable dining & lounge areas, and clean bathrooms.

The private apartments feature: fully equipped kitchens, a pleasant lounge area, all the amenities you need to feel at home in Barcelona and, in some cases, a sunny private terrace.

LOCATION INFORMATION:

The BCN Market Inn is located in the pleasant Sant Antoni neighbourhood, a lively residential part of the Eixample close to the centre (a 15-minute walk or 2 Metro stops to Plaça Catalunya), with all kinds of shops and the historic Sant Antoni Market.

Within stumbling distance is the up-and-coming Raval, an area that has undergone regeneration over recent years and is now home to arty bars, designers’ boutiques, art galleries and contemporary art museums – the CCCB and the MACBA, also famous for hosting the SONAR festival, as well as being an international skateboarding haunt.

The BCN Market Inn is also very close to Poble Sec, one of Barcelona’s most traditional neighbourhoods at the foot of the Montjuic Hill, known for its beautiful squares and typical restaurants. Been there for 6 nights. Sheets were changed once, towels twice. Rooms and bathrooms were cleened every day. Only problem could be that the only contact with the owners avaible at the hostel is a non english speaker woman. Close to everything, but in a rather calm area.

  2. Richard From Australia On November 30, -0001

Nice place to stay, although beware of rooms with no windows. At the tome of our stay it was very hot and the fans were not sufficient for a comfortable sleep. Also you get charged for late arrival.

We have been changed from this hotel to another just after have booked, so we went were they told us, and it was awful, dirty and smelly. The guy form the hostel just woke up to open us at 10h30 am, he couldn't even speak a proper Spanish, and told us to come back later, he didn't explain anything at all. We didn't stay, everything looked scary. Again this is not the hostel we booked, but the hostel that they moved us.

although nice apartment close to center looks lonely and without life. definitely not for party-seeking and friends-to-make young travelers. nice small rooms with balcony facing the main street. fully equipped kitchen and two bathrooms. very nice for couples who seek solitude and privacy. my girlfriend and i stayed for one week and enjoyed it very much.

  8. Nicola From Italy On November 30, -0001

The Hostel is in a fantastic position in Barcelona: there is Sant Antoni Market near it and bus and metro station, so it's easy get to the centre of the city. We really appreciate the rooms and apartament structure! We think that kitchen has to be improved (we needed more tools and heaters!)

  9. Mitra From Bulgaria On November 30, -0001

It is a very comfortable place to stay, with a wonderful and very useful terrace near the kitchen. The flat is only few minutes away from the city center. Very friendly and helpful stuff. We recommend it to anyone who wants to stay and enjoy its time in Barcelona!

The internal rooms, as one I had, are disastrous. You can even hear somebody farting in the other room and never-ending door slamming could wake up everybody. Fortunately there was fan in the room, otherways we would die because of lack of fresh air. There was renovation in other apartment and workers were drilling and hammering from the morning.

  14. zrinka From Croatia On November 30, -0001

Position was quite OK and the fact that we had freedom to come and go whenever we want, freedom to use the kitchen was great.Room was too small and untidy, we did not have enough shelfs to place our things,so we had to put them on the dirty floor. We would also like to advise you next time to put some soap, toilet paper and NEW towels without stains. We needed double key and had difficulties with opening the entrance hall because of the damaged key.P.S the elevator was broken.

  15. Vanesa From Croatia On November 30, -0001

Very nice! I'm pleased to recommend you! Just need someone who will clean the bathrooms and throw out the garbage EVERY day because the too warm weather in the combination with garbage is not good smell!!! Thanks again and see you!

  16. Anna From Sweden On November 30, -0001

You get what you pay for.Its in a nontouristy area and you get a little more peace than if you stay closer to la Rambla!

  17. Pierre From Netherlands On November 30, -0001

  19. Elzbieta From Poland On November 30, -0001

The room was ok, but it was not enough place for clothes (only one small wardrobe for 2 poeple) and it was a bit noisy (windows at the street). And it would be more conveneint to organize second bathroom cause in the morning it was difficult to get to the bathroom and to have hot water (some people was taking showers for 30 minutes or so)- our room was located in 4 bedroom apartment. Overall nice place, with nice view and balcony, near metro and within walking distance to Ramblas.
