    Hard to find. Noisy and arrived to stained bed sheets. Unfreindly and unhappy staff. Wouldn't recommend as a place to stay for a holiday perhaps as a overnight stop.

    They claim that not only the 2 Euros for the Booking Service online goes to HostelsClub but also the 10% deposit I put down for the whole time goes to HostelClub and that the AAE Hotel has not received a cent from me as yet.

    The staff is so rude that he didn't speak any words in English even he can. When we asked if there is someone that we can communicate, he said that the hotel is one star! In addition he was angry to us because we arrived there at 9 pm. But the position is good. You can walk after the metro is closed at midnight.

    Basic ,no frills Hotel. super shower. Really good location in the lovely Gothic area not far from the cathedral. Plenty of places to eat. Just a minute from the metro. I enjoyedmy stay over christmas.

    I'd certainly stay in this nice hotel again during my next visit to this wonderful city! A great opportunity to see Barcelona in a relaxed way. The loction is superbly in the middle of the old, rather crowdy though, historical Gothic quartier. Clean and spacious room with the maximum of privacy in the heart of Old Barcelona. What else could you want more?

    Small room but clean, good shower room and great location. Walkable to everywhere and safe in the evening.

    Our room was v. small but comfortable and clean. It was quite dark as the window opened onto back of other buildings but this suited us fine as we wanted to sleep late. The bathroom was fine and the shower was great.The central location is great, near the metro but most of the city in easy walking distance. There's a fantastic falafel shop and a fresh juice stall directly opposite too! Excellent value for money.
