the place has another name, it's cold, dirty and I think it's illegal

  2. Reinier From Netherlands On November 30, -0001

Hostel is not up to the standards Hostelsclub should have. Other guests are immigrants working in low-pay jobs instead of tourists. Rooms are windy and without heating. Illiterate staff (seriously!)

Bedbugs. Room with a 'window' facing.. the corridor. Used towels in the room. Bad smell around and the master spraying air freshener in every room / bathroom / kitchen while showing us the way to our 'bedroom'. Wifi is the only working thing in this god forgotten place.

It's close to the centre, but in a really noisy street. It's not perfectly clean and you don't get towels and soap. But it was cheap

i booked this guesthouse befroe all the bad reviews were posted. i decided to find out what was going on. it seems the actualy owner carlos silva has sublet to ali akbhar and his family. they are nice people but they have not a clue how to run a guest house

It is fair for what you pay as guess. Be aware that although they have kitchen is just for familiar use so no way of cooking your own food.

I wouldn't recommend this place at all. These indian cheaters laughed at us because we booked the hostel for one euro per night, saying that of course that must be a mistake from hostelsclub.com. They wanted 10 euro per night without wanting to contact hostelsclub.com about the "mistake"! Very rude people, so we went off - and stayed in the newly, lovely Royal Hostel in the middle of Bairrio Alto for 13 euro per night! I please you to do that instead...

I cannot recommend this place at all. We never got a chance to stay there because the rooms we booked in advance had been given to other people when we arrived without any explanation. Having seen the facility and talked to the owner we were even glad to get back our money and look for a new place to stay.

Average. Decent location and very cheap. Some rooms are much better than others. Can be noisy. Self-catering facilities.

Helpful owners, place in central Lisbon, quiet and nice.

The hostel is near to metro station (5 min by walk) and to the old town (good localization for sightseeing Lisbon). It is very quiet (inside), small hostel, located at noisy ( becuase of the traffic) street.

it's close to the city center and this is the only advantage, more than a hostel this is just a private flat with a few rooms rented out, feels rather awkward, in general not very clean and not fun at all

  14. DOMENICO From Italy On November 30, -0001

Ideal for young traveller and students who wants to spend the less possible and to have a good location, without especting hotel quality... the owners are really nice persons... bye bye

You get what you pay for and this Hotel is inexpensive and gives you a good room near central Lisbon. The hardest part is finding it and making the initial contact. We liked it and would stay again.
