Placed in a good position, not far from the city center, metro and bus stations; the double room is very small and the bathroom is without windows, but the staff are very kindly (not all the staff speak well english!), the breakfast is wonderful!!!
Very nice place, central in the old part of Lisbon. The staff is very nice, special the lady in the kitchen.
Comfy bed, spotless room, bright colors. They have a new Mac available for internet and a decent spread for breakfast. Very pleased!
clean, good position, private rooms are too small, some without windows, there no enough air inside, quite, stuff is friendly
The lady was very unfriendly, and screamed át any problem with the guests. To avoid, if you want to have good holidays. The bed had a lot of furs, wasnt even clean. Worst hostel i have Ever been.
though there is no lift for luggages but the people here are great and we love the breakfast very much
10 = horrible pretty bad hostel
This guest house is located in a old building in Alfama quarter, and is very closer to the commercial streets and tha main square of the city (5-10 min. walk). We booked a double with private wc but the room was really too small (and furnished only with a small double bed, one chair, one bedside table) so we ask to change it. The staff was very helpfull and kind, showing us other rooms (large and nice) but whit shared wc, so we decide don't change. Breakfast is included, and there is a large and well equiped kitchen; free Wi-fi and the are 2 computers whit internet (for free, too).
Beautiful rooms, really friendly people.
Very nice staff and very good deal! Highly recommended.
really good service and nice staff (; the guesthouse is near the Santa Apolonia trainstation - very good for backpacker!
Very good location, down the alfama hill. Very clean, great breakfast, nice staff. We had a private double room with bathroom for a very reasonnable price. The street is quite noisy though, so you might want to bring earplugs.
This hostel is very nice and clean. The people who work there are great espically Rosa the breakfast lady! Not close to beach if thats what ur into but the old city is beautiful and transat is easy to use. Not good for a party...families staying at this hostel...weird :/
A very nice place in the middle of Alfama with view to the river,if you have the right room. The breakfast is good & the stuff is amazing.
Guesthouse Beira Mar was excellent. The staff there are all extremely helpful and friendly, and I got on well with them. I enjoyed staying there and I have told them I might be coming back. The only problem is it was a little bit away from the train and metro.
very nice place to stay, staff is very friendly and helpful, rigth in the center of the city, economical
The staff were very friendly and helpful, the guesthouse was really clean. However, the advertised wireless internet never appeared....
I'll come back to this hostel for sure. Staff are very kind and helpful. Location near the most interesting places.
