Very basic, the bathrooms were 'foggy', the staff was nice, but not well informed about things to do/see - or how to get tickets or which stations serve which directions. Since we were there in winter time, it wasnt that warm in the rooms though. As i said it was basic, not a fancy hostel. Just to sleep. I didnt see there a common room. MAybe there was... somehow hidden.

  3. Mattia Luigi From Italy On November 30, -0001

the kitchen is not the clenest one, all the rest is good. Prepare to stay cold in the winter. Good position, also for coming back the night. No hidden problems.

  4. Jan From Germany On November 30, -0001

Very friendly owner who is caring a lot for his guests. We spent one week there and for sure I will book again if I go to Lisbon. Location is special, because it is not in the very heart if tourism (like Bairro Alto, for instance) and if you like to be surrounded by common lisbon citizens you find perfect places with love and reasonable prices.

  5. Lene From Denmark On November 30, -0001

We had a lovely stay in Lisbon staying at this hostel.

The staff was great and very helpful. The room wasn't so clean but the beds were very comfortable. The kitchen had a huge fridge and all the facilities to cook. The only problem was the light of the corridor in front of the room and the lights of the toilets: when kept on (many guests didn't turn them off) the room wasn't dark anymore as the light filterd from a window placed at the top of the door of the bedroom.

  8. Marcin From Poland On November 30, -0001

Perfect location, near shops and reasonably-priced restaurants, very close to metro station. Very nice staff, clean rooms

  9. Jannis From Germany On November 30, -0001

Very clean, friendly personal. Nice atmosphere. The kitchen is top. But the hostel is poorly soundproof. So you need to be a tight sleeper even when it is not buzzing.

Overall great, great experience. The location can't be beat and what you get for your money (ie, utilities, internet, kitchen, etc) makes this place second to none!
