The hostel is quite nice but the rooms are very small. As it is situated near the Red Light district, it is very noisy outside at nights, so be ready to that.

I have been to this hostel twice and I absolutely love it! It is a very short 10 minute walk from the train station and right in the heart of the red light district! Cant get any better than that! The beds are pretty comfortable and the sheets are very clean. I've been to hostels where the pillows have a funky smell but never experienced that here. Very convenient that the wifi is free. Also enjoyed the smoking room. I was very impressed with the prices of the breakfast. I had 2 over easy eggs with a large side of fries and it was only 4 EURO! Every time I come to Amsterdam I will always stay here. The only complaint or concern that I had was the cleanliness of the showers/bathrooms. I've seen MUCH worse but the bathrooms seem to only be cleaned once a day and that is mid morning. So by night time the bathrooms arent very clean. Minor issue.

This hotel/hostel is a quick 10 mins walk from central station and has a great deal of sights within walking distance. Staff very friendly. Very comfortable beds. Showers are ok and communal areas could do with being cleaned throughout the day. Recommend and would stay here again.

In the heart of Amsterdam, good conditions, nice staff.

Good Hostel close to everythink but not right on top decent bar downstair bit noisy but this is a hostel would have no problems stopping here again!!!

  6. Mircea From Romania On November 30, -0001

    Excellent location. Small rooms.

  7. WILLIE From Malaysia On November 30, -0001

Everything was satisfactory. Counter staff could have been more friendly and smiled more. Also, the dorm where I stayed only on 2 power outlets. This in not enough when the dorm caters to 12 people.

  8. Klaudia From Poland On November 30, -0001

The location is really good, close to Dam Square, shops and main attraction :)

  9. Teemu From Finland On November 30, -0001

Very nice place for its price.

Near the station and the beginning of the red light area, but it is very crowed if you book a 18 bed room and the upper bed is not safe if you don't sleep still, because the beds don't have bars.

Yesterday myself & 8 other girls checked out of the Hostel, and we can honestly say it was a pleasure to stay here! Our room & bathroom were clean and a decent size. The smoking room, 24 bar, and food were all little things that made our stay awesome! DEFO go here again! :)

  12. Ducry From Switzerland On November 30, -0001

Good hostel for a short stay. Maybe a small towel in the bathroom for hand would have beed good but very nice trip and the hostel was very clean. The smoking room was also nice.

  13. Stuart From USA On November 30, -0001

Good bathrooms, and good staff, and food. The location is by far the best part of the hostel, very close to all the fun. Beer and food is expensive but so is everything else in Amsterdam. Staff is nice and good for asking questions.

  14. richard From England On November 30, -0001

I have read a lot of bad reviews about this hostel but i did not experience the same. I thought the hostel was fine. I stayed in a 20 person dorm for 5 nights, the bed was fine, the shower was hot and the bar staff were nice. The location was great as well. I would stay again.

  15. Marcin From Poland On November 30, -0001

  17. Mads Thirsgaard From Denmark On November 30, -0001

Wonderful. Absolutely wonderful. And the cheapest Heineken's that we could find in Red Light District. And the sportsbar and friendly staff: wonderful!

  18. Josh From England On November 30, -0001

If you want a hostel near the red light district and you don't mind (or won't notice) a bit of noise this place is great. 10 mins from the station and with a good bar to boot.

  19. Anael From France On November 30, -0001

The beds were comfortable and the shower was warm, this is valuable. However, on one night, there was a continuous mess from around 5am to 7:30am in the aisles/stairs. Nobody did anything against that. Then, the atmosphere is not as fun as in other hostels because there is no common space but for the bar downstairs, and only one key per room is a little inconvenient. Finally, for this price (over 40 euros a night in a 8-bed dorm!!!) the breakfast should be included.

    top!!!
