The Belfort Hotel Amsterdam is a moderately priced 3-star hotel on the edge of Amsterdam's city centre. Situated between the 'Rembrandtpark' and the 'Vondelpark', the hotel can be found in a quiet but typically Amsterdam neighbourhood. A pleasant walk to the opposite side of the 'Vondelpark' will bring you to the heart of Amsterdam, close to the 'Leidseplein' and the 'Museumplein'. By car the city centre can be reached in five minutes and the tram will take you there in ten minutes. The hotel is also close to the ringroad around the city, so that the business centres to the south of the A10 motorway can easily be reached.
The hotel itself has 31 double/twin rooms, two triple rooms and two family rooms. All rooms are spacious, well decorated, and equipped with a shower, toilet, hair dryer, telephone, and television. The hotel bar/lounge is finished in a homely old-fashioned style and in the breakfast area the hotel provides its guest with a complimentary breakfast buffet in the morning. We stayed in 5 mixed bedroom for two nights, it was ok, except the room was in a cellar with only a really really small window. The room was actually for twin beds, but they 'rearranged' it became 5 beds room without any space between each beds, and the bathtub was leaked.

I loved this place. Right near the park, but not too far to walk to the main city.
We stayed in 5 mixed bedroom for two nights, it was ok, except the room was in a cellar with only a really really small window. The room was actually for twin beds, but they 'rearranged' it became 5 beds room without any space between each beds, and the bathtub was leaked.
