THE AMSTEL INN tourist accommodations is part of the Hotel Max. The guesthouse is at 15 min. by tram from the central station of amsterdam. The guesthouse is near hotel MAX. It's about 900 meter from hotel MAX.
The rooms are SMALL and BASIC, the rooms are good for budgettravellers. The rooms are at bagpackers level. the shower and toilet have to be shared with other rooms
All the rooms are non-smoking.
Our price is excl. 5% city tax and excl. breakfast. for breakfast in hotel max we charge 7,50 euro per person per breakfast.

Upon booking the accom from your site i was then informed to go to another hotel and THEN informed to travel to a dank dark damp tiny dirty room about 3km out of town.Too many problems to list (no heat,no plug for the antique tv and broken dirty toilet)iv seen nicer accom in the roughest part of india.. NOT recommended!!

There was no one to clean the room every day (and I found someone else's hair on my pillow), and there was no proper key for our room. Appart from that, it was good value, the room was quite wide and included a couch. There was no breakfast, included or not.

I told you something... Don't book there It's really cheap for the price. The room are really small, If you have 100-130 euro a night spend it in a real Hotel ! I'm not joking. Amerterdam was cool but not the guesthouse. show up in amsterdam and you can find a better place to sleep !!!

The narrow inn/spui guesthouse: A great place to stay, central, in Spui close to everything. Visitors should know that you get the key a totally different place, at Hotel max, and that the place itself is only three rooms without any reception of its own. And if you are too overweight or very old you probably can not get up the steep and narrow staircase.
