very clean, but there are no workers around the house, if we have some problem, it is hard to talk to them, only for calls.

The room was very clean and sufficient for "single person" stay. It was situated very locally. My only problem was carrying my luggage from the main place to my room. Even though, I asked with e-mail where I would be situated, I did not got an answer. And not knowing where you will end is the only problem with this hostel.

Great place to rest in Venice. Feel really like living at home, so private. Located half way between Piazza le Roma and Piazza San Marco. Easy to find though. Really recommend for travelers who looking for private room.

Nice room with access at any time of day or night. Only problem no any closet or any drawer in the room. I had to keep all my clothes in my bag for four nights

We had an excellent stay in an apartment that forms part of the hotel. Comfortable, clean and close to everything.

Single room small but with ensuite and frig - good value for Venice but rooms are in different parts so your location could be different - I loved mine half way between the station and St Marks

  7. Julianne From Canada On November 30, -0001

Great hostel, very clean, no problems! Close to the train station, but a little far from main attractions. Very happy overall!

We had a comfortable room very close to St Mark's Square. What we didn't have was any contact with reception at the hotel for our entire stay. On our arrival we were shown promptly to our room. Our room was a long way from reception (6 euros by ferry and probably almost a one hour round trip). On arrival at our room we discovered that there was no phone provided,so could not phone to reception. It would have been helpful to be aware of this situation beforehand.

The hotel is located 15 min of walking from bus station and from the place we needed to check-in at (we were informed about this before the reservation, so no complains about). Room was clean with clean toilet, shower and easy to find. In the room it were snacks, coffe and tea. it was also some fridg. at the room. Stuff at check in was very friendly.

I feel like being cheated. The address writen was just the check-in office but not the address of the room. I choose a hotel because of its location and they should state clearly the room address. The room is actually far away from the Train Station. Imagine a girl with backpack of 20 KG to walk more than 20 minutes. It really sucks. They got an assistant to lead u to the room but she walked so fast that I think she didn't care how heavy my luggage is. If U carry lots of luggages , U better not to choose this hotel.

No need to get complicate. It is cute, well located, best value for Venice, trust me...I was looking.... Very good cafe and cheap next to it, rialto at 5 min walking and one supermarket next door, what else do you want guys??? I think people not happy just not have a clue about price and qlty for Venice.

We stayed at 5560 on the sestieri of Cannaregio. Our room was very clean and cleaned every day. We had thick, clean white towels which were replaced halfway through the week. There was hot water in the shower, which occasionally was difficult to regulate, nothing too extreme. Our room was close to an important street and about thirty minutes leisurely walking from Piazza San Marco. The hostel provided a water heater, along with jam, packaged toast, crackers and tea bags. Staff was helpful. Unfortunately, we stayed far from the internet connection, which was slow. The bathroom was very small and the shower idealy built for smaller people. Neither was there a closet in which to hang things or a chest of drawers for clothing. However, our room was right next to a Billa shopping center; there was the view of a canal outside our window. We had a comfortable, clean, enjoyable stay.

It was a great experience o be in Venice, the building were we had a room was very good situated. Near the Canal Grande and next to a waterbusstop. The only badin thing was the noisy boiler in our room and the ventilators in the bathrooms which you could hear through the whole building. The one and only light in our room was a very bright TL set. A bedlight to read a bit would be appreciated.

Simple hotel - great location! 2min from grand canal waterbus stop - 15min walk from Rialto. Wasn't cheap but good value for Venice. Would definitely recommend.

    simple, clean, well-placed

The bedrooms in Strada Nova are really clean and quiet, with a beautiful view on a tipical canal in Venice. They are very close to the most important attractions of the city (10 minutes from Ponte Rialto and 15 from Piazza San Marco on foot) and to the railway station (15 minutes on foot). Many restaurants, shops and cafè around the palace and a good self-service breakfast in the room. Ideal for young people, couples or families.

  19. Daniel From Italy On November 30, -0001

    - Absolutely clean and functional. - Nice staff + 10/15 minutes free internet at reception. - In the area of Strada Nova, a big shopping street directly in the center of Venice. - No pubs or animation at night. But very quiet if you want to sleep well. - Simple room but with view on the typical canal.
