Hostel was situated not far from Termini station (10 bus stops by tram - easy to find). Room was small but cute. Personal was very helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend this hostel for others young travelers. Really good price/quality of service ratio. --Andrej&Katka,SVK

cosy bed & breakfast apartment near rome. close to the roma termini station via bus, but a little ways from the sights. the hosts are great! very welcoming and nice. helped us find a place nearby to eat and figure out bus / metrosystem. AC is key in Rome during summer which worked well and there was a little fridge/microwave/tv in the room too. freedom to eat any of the breakfast foods & drinks in the kitchen.

  3. Eyal From USA On November 30, -0001

Great hostel, close to the heart of Rome. It's a short tram ride away from the central train station, and the area is quite safe. The rooms were really homey and cute, and there was a free internet station in the common area. Wonderful place to stay!!

  4. JCM From Netherlands On November 30, -0001

Very nice bed and breakfast, not big but all the things u need for a city trip, a breakfast , shower & toilet on the room, very silent sleeping, perfect.

  5. Tui From Australia On November 30, -0001

Wonderful staff - very friendly and helpful! Not completely fluent in English, but really try. Sweet space, and very homely. Free internet was really handy! My Mother and I had a very lovely time staying in this warm and inviting environment. We travelled through three more cities after this, and actually it was the best overall place that we stayed in.

  6. alessio From Italy On November 30, -0001

the street isn't great, the area isn't central, but the room is very nice (with sky tv) and the self-service breakfast is a really good one. worth a visit if you are on a budget trip.

  7. Blanka From Czech Republic On November 30, -0001

We were satisfied, the room was beautiful, the breakfast was also very well arranged, only the distance from the centre could be a disadvantage.

  8. Peter From Netherlands On November 30, -0001

We stayed five nights at Angeli di Matilde. The room a little bit small but okay. It was clean, the staff very friendly and we had a good breakfast and a good time in Rome. Peter and Jeanne.

  9. Theresa From USA On November 30, -0001

The owners were the friendliest and most accommodating place we have stayed at yet. We had everything including a universal outlet and air conditioning. I highly recommend the place.

  10. Emilio From Argentina On November 30, -0001

NIce place, nice rooms, facilities, the staff is very friendly. It's quite and really easy going. You have to fo there with tram, wich is not ideal, but it's not bad. Good for people who want to take a rest in Holliday =)

  11. Muzeyyen Bitis, From Turkey On November 30, -0001

we went there there around midnight. it was in an old apartment with no signboard in the front. it was scary to arrive at that time to a place like that as two girls. after we got their floor a nice person meet us and the rest of the time was nice too. don't expect something like a hotel. it's a big house which they rent the rooms. in general it's good for that price and the staff is very friendly and helpfull.

  12. Barbora From Czech Republic On November 30, -0001

Clean room, with bathroom, air-conditioning, tresor, TV, we were satisfied. Around 10 stops by tram to the city centre (to the Termini station).

  13. Lukasz From Poland On November 30, -0001

Place is really fine. Hosts are great. There is some distance to the city center (20 min to Termini by Tram) but connections are good.

  14. Skirmante From Lithuania On November 30, -0001

A nice place to stay for a reasonable price. The only drawback was that there's no common room in the hostel so not so much fun. On the other hand, you can enjoy privacy as nobody disturbs you. Angeli di Matilde is quite far away from the city centre but luckily there is a very convenient public transport, so it approximately takes about 20 minutes to get to Termini station.

  15. Petri Ilari From Finland On November 30, -0001

The staff was helpful and the rooms were tidy. Tanya speaks italian and spanish, Christian italian and english. They were both extremely helpful. The only negative thing was that we were three men in a triple room and were given a double and a single bed. Suppose they thought we were a family :D The location is excellent: 20 mins to center by tram and buses going to Colosseum. There is also a nice pizza place nearby selling 1 euro pizza slices.

  16. Tomas From Slovakia On November 30, -0001

"Like-at-home" atmosphere, clean, very friendly and helpful staff, decent breakfast, 15min to Termini by tram, recommend to everyone looking for B&B in Rome.

  17. Kristian N Ánike From Denmark On November 30, -0001

Tanya the host makes it good, she is helpful, funny and has personality... Remember personality goes a long way. Its 15-20 mins away from Termini, which is too long as u often have to go further than that. But a nice pizzaria and a good restaurant nearby, cheap and pure

  18. Ramses From Belgium On November 30, -0001

Very reachable, clean and reliable place to stay. When needed staff was very cooperative.Rooms are regular sized. Breakfast was however limited to toast and marmalade. An overall yes when you need a confident place to stay near the center of Rome.

  19. Lidia From Poland On November 30, -0001

very nice and helpful people, rich breakfast, good localisation, clean room and area, free access to internet

  20. Caitlin From USA On November 30, -0001

Cristian was a wonderful host, he is friendly, helpful and very willing to meet any needs or request you may have during your stay. The hostel had character and was bright and welcoming. The hostel is situated away from the center of Rome, but i suggest staying in this area because downtown Rome is a tourist trap rip off. You can find fabulous local restaurants right around the corner from Angeli Di Matilde. There are fridges in the room, so i suggest buying water, soda, bread, etc instead of getting raped on beverages downtown while touring.
