Info & Description

Hotel Tirreno, a lovely one-star hotel, stands just a few metres away from Corso Buenos Aires, the Milanese shopping street with more than 2 kilometres of fashion stores, and from Piazza Loreto, a key location both in terms of public transport - 2 underground lines stop here (Red and Green) - and road connections - with roads connecting the East and North Ringroads (Tangenziali Est and Nord) to the city centre (Via Porpora - Viale Monza, etc).

The hotel, located in Piazza Aspromonte, has 10 recently furbished rooms. All are equipped with TV, Direct-dial telephone and Wake-up call service. There are rooms with and without en suite bathrooms.

Furthermore, the family-run 24 hr reception desk has a baggage room and a service for the safe keeping of valuables.

Thanks to its inexpensive rates, Hotel Tirreno is an excellent base for relatives of patients going to the nearby hospital facilities: the Santa Rita Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, the Tumour Institute and the San Raffaele hospital, as well as for university students attending courses at the Politecnico University in Piazza Leonardo da Vinci.

Very clean, quite well located, reachable from Milano Centrale on foot. We missed a kitchen or opportunity to make tea. Ideal for the stop-over we had between two flights.

  2. Jonas From Germany On November 30, -0001

Good accomodation for the Price. Absolutely nice staff, clean rooms. For People who don't mind to share a bathroom perfect.

  3. Phung Anh From Vietnam On November 30, -0001

It's like family-motel. Everything was nice, staff is very friendly and helpful. But because no AC so it's quite hot and difficult to sleep in beginning of July.

  4. Jana From Germany On November 30, -0001

Nice clean room, net to Metro or bus. Strongly recommended for travelers which only Need a clean place to sleep. Very friendly stuff (only italiano)

We were on the second floor. No wifi in the room. But on the ground floor wifi is ok. The room is small but quite. for sleeping for a night is ok. The bathroom is shared but it is clean and in the night and morning no one else share with us.

Dear Travelers, That was my first time I meet so unpleasant, not polite stuff. First of all they only accept cash, that's is very strange. Hosts are couple (italian and ukrainian). Will never advise anyone to stay in that shitty hostel. At the same street several hotels which are a bit expensive but more comfortable. Hope anyone will meet so

the biggest advantage of the place is its location - 10 minute walk from the Railway Station. The place itself could use some renovation - the style it's decorated reminded of the 80ties. wouldnt recommend it for a romantic weekend but if you're looking for sth functional - it is just fine.

We spent two nights in this hotel. The price was a little high but apparently low in Milan. The hotel was very clean and seemed like recently renovated. The staff was nice and sympathetic but their English was lousy. The location was excellent for us as the hotel is situated in a walking distance from the main railway station and there was a grocery store nearby that was open until nine p.m. The neighbourhood is peaceful with a nice park in front of the hotel. Though the facilities were modest, we enjoyed our time in this hotel.

The staff was very friendly, although they didn't speak very good English. Location was nice, close to two metro lines and the end of one of the best shopping streets, Corso Buenos Aires. I was quite satisfied overall.

the position in city is very good, near to the center, from train station we went by foot in about 20 minutes. But the room they give as was near to reception so we heard everythink at night and morning, the window in day room was so small. There was no diferences between day and night, but I recomend that place. Staff nice but can't speak english.

  16. Marcin From Poland On November 30, -0001

Close to Loreto station of underground, nice atmosphere, good relation to the price, towels changed everyday, clean. Nice and cheap food in close neighborhood, night bar for a drink.

    very cheap but noisy

  18. Karina From Poland On November 30, -0001

It is one of the best hostels I ever stayed in. Good value for money. The location is good, not far away from metro and bus. The staff is nice. The rooms are very clean, but once you get the room noone comes to clean it every day. Nevertheless, I really recommend staying in Tirreno!

  19. HARJEET From British Indian Ocean Territory On November 30, -0001

Reception staff were very helpful and accomodating. Room was spacious but shared bathroom was not spacious. We would stay here again!

The locker in the doors was broken and couldn`t open, so I stucked inside. The room was quite small. But the rest was ok.
