YHA Ostello di GENOVA is a clean, friendly and cheap hostel!

Facilities: café/bar, a large terrace, free private car parking and a meeting room which can accommodate up to 50 people in shared dorm rooms or private rooms with private or shared bathroom.

Services: bed linen provided; WIFI and Internet point free of charge; all the information and help from the staff to explore Genoa!

*Please note that some services have an extra cost for non members of Hostelling International.

Tourism tax: 1,50 € /person/night, applied to non-residents overnight staying,over 14 years old, for a maximum of 8 consecutive nights.

HOSTEL CONDITIONS and CANCELLATION POLICY
- Credit cards accepted: VISA or MASTERCARD
- Cancellations and modifications accepted within 48 hours prior arrival without any penalty fees. In case of late cancellation we will charge the amount of the first night fee.
- The hostel reserves the right to pre-authorise credit cards prior to arrival for the amount of the first night fee. If your credit card is not authorized for the amount of the first night fee the reservation will be cancelled.

    I met new friends. Very clean. Wifi. man at the reception is always ready to help. The view is fantastic. There is Belveder over there. The supermarket is close to hostel.

    Was okay for staying two nights. But I would definitely now recommend the breakfast, in my opinion it's not worth it's price with just croissant, coffee and juice.

    Very beautyfull view over Genova and it's Harbour. Even if you're not motorized it's worth climbing up the hill. Friendly staff. Good Pizzeria some 100 meters further up available (not so cheap, but good). I recommend.

    The hostel is big with safe parking.the beds can be more stable.. it shakes even with slight movement.. rest everything was fine.

    Good if you're happy to travel 30 mins by bus each day and are happy with the absolute basics. No fridge or cooking facilities. No mosquito netting on windows. Very poor sound insulation between rooms.

    Can not use credit card, is a surprise, but staffs are friendly, still let us chech in and pay later.

    The hostel is wonderful -- I've been there before, and I will probably be back again next time I'm in Genova. The major incovenient (unless you have a car) is that it's a 20 or 30-minute bus ride from Brignole train station, and the buses sometimes only run 2-3 times an hour. On the other hand, the view from the hostel is beautiful, and the staff is very helpful.
