The 'Franz House' is located in the Historical Center of Florence,ont right side walking of the river Arno.

This 'Guest House' offers to you a wonderfull panorama few steps far from the Ponte Vecchio,Piazza della Signoria and Uffizzi Gallery.
The kindness and the professionality of the owner,the spacious and nicely decorated rooms of this Bed and Breakfast make your stay pleasant.

We will be more than happy to point out the historical locations by providing a map will give you all the advice you need about good places to eat, drink and clubbing, rent a car or a bike.

Following the Italian Law we are required to see a VALID INDENTIFICATION DOCUMENT upon Check-in.
For citizens of the E.U. : PASSPORT or IDENTITY CARD.
For citizens OUTSIDE the E.U : we can only accept a PASSPORT.
If you can not provide a valid document on arrival you will be unable to check-in. (no-show)

Please note that from the 01/07/11 a new 'Tourist Tax' ordered by the Florence council wll be put into place. The tax of €2 per night per person is compulsory for all guests of Franz House
You will have your own set of keys to get in and out any time

    We stayed at 2 beds private room for 1 night. Directions are useless, it takes forever to find a place using them, so check a map carefully before arriving. Breakfast is only 2,5 and it's very good! Towels, maps, soap and shampoo are provided, could leave luggage after check out. Wi-fi was free but signal was poor in our room.

    Franz House is a very nice place! It is clean, convenient and comfortable. It also provides full breakfast if you are willing to pay. Highly recommend! Come & stay there!

    Hostel was in a great location! A few meters from the river, and just across the river is a wonderful gelato place. My husband and I were able to walk to all major tourist attractions; indeed sometimes we would walk back to change to cooler/warmer clothes when we needed to! Staff was very nice, bathroom was clean, and we were also able to use their computer for internet access.

    Close to train station and right in the centre of Florence. Convenient for our 1 night stay. However we did not receive any "free soap" and couldn't find where to have breakfast - all the doors were shut and there were no staff at the desk in the morning.
