THE HOSTEL
The stay in the Y.H. is a good occasion to know the medieval charm, because it is located in a longobardo palace with its Ercolani tower ( XI-XII century ), the biggest noble one and it is also one of the most important historical and monumental attraction of the city. It is possible to go up to the top and admire the landscape.

Our hostel has 60 years old, and its history is written in the 50 guest-book where guests
left their impressions on the hospitality of our beautiful city and our picturesque and 'only' hostel. The precious books are available for guests who can read

The hospitality at this hostel is enough of a reason to satisfy your fascination with things medieval , especially since the hostel is located within a historic building that dates from the Middle Ages. The city center is rich with monuments from many eras, offering a cultural district with few equals. Don't forget the famous festival of Giostra della Quintana and its crowd of costumed characters that is celebrated the first of August each year. The city is also pleasant for a winter visit: for the Ascolano Carnival, one of the most festive of the peninsula, and also the small antiques market that takes place on the third Sunday of each month. From Ascoli, it's also possible to take interesting trips within the fascinating province of Marches.
