Great atmosphere, friendly staff and lovely people!
It's a clean hostel at an excellent location. It's no tourist info point though, the staff is busy and not very knowledgeable, although they are friendly. The hostel is really big. There's no rope to hung your clothes to dry, instead they are asking you to use the dryer and pay 5 euros for it (in Athens, in the middle of summer, when the sun would do the job in an hour). But all in all it's ok, and the rooftop bar is nice.
Just the bathrooms in the dorms were a bit dingy, and the cleaner was late in cleaning them so there was no toilet paper for a while. Lone of the lockers was broken too.
The staff was very welcoming and knowledgeable. I did laundry as soon as I got there which was €10, for washing a drying in relatively new machines. Wifi in reception area is good, rooms are clean although small. I didn't end up sleeping in the hostel but would recommend for budget travelers.
Excellent location. Very close to the metro station. Athens in general is dirty so I imagine most places are similar considering the general appearance of the city. Free breakfast, free wifi. The shower had a short lived flow of water so you have to constantly keep pressing the shower control while you're showering which is very annoying. There was A/C but I don't think it was properly working because the room was hot. Each bed had a reading light and a power outlet which I think should be standard in dorms. The staff had a bit of an attitude.
