A nice place to stay for a few days if you don't need much luxury.
Wonderful hostel with great views over the waters of the River Dahme. It is ideally situated for those who seek a quiet and cozy get-away that is yet not too far away from the city center. The Breakfast was superb, and the prices can't be beaten! Great athmosphere, great hostel!
The atmosphere is quiet laid back. Most of the time you won't find anyone, but if you do they are very helpful. The location is nice, even though it's in the residential east of berlin. The toilets are the worst, they look horrible, don't flush properly and do not get cleaned as you would expect. Nevertheless,the breakfast is nice, best rolls I have eaten in a while. The personlaity of the house needs some up beat change,however, for the prices they offer one should not really complain. Would come back.
If you like nice, peaceful place by the river TOURISTENHAUS GRüNAU is the best choice! Special thanks to Mr.Dieter, member of the staff, who was more than helpful providing us various information. Fresh&delicious food for breakfast!
