Me and my 3 friends had a really nice stay in Pirate Hostel. District was really nice and quiet but located in nice communication area. We were able to get everywhere. Rooms are fully equipped with tv, cooker, oven, microwave, wi0fi and hot water :) Clean place but rennovation and refresh should be done. Worth to recommend.
Cons: The room said "private bathroom" and its neither ensuite not private, as we were sharing with another group an out of the room bathroom. 5-10 minute walk to the metro/train stations. Pros: it's clean and there is a kitchen available. Lots of bars/pubs/restaurants near the hostel.
lived here for 5 days in july! really liked it, everything worked fine. the location is nice even though it is a bit out of the center of Berlin
Quiet location. Walking distance from the touristic/active area of eastern Berlin. Not typically organized but it works great :) This is not for the conservative traveler ;)
Everything was clean and I had an entire room to myself. Everything was included and the owner was extremely kind and helpful. I would definitely recommend!

Easy to find, really nice set up.
It is the typical hostel where you feel at home...with large spaces in the bedroom,it's smoke friendly and the large windows are useful to refresh the air when you need it.The common room with the internet point is really confused like a pirate one..but the manager is really friendly and helpful.
