Part of 'Pfefferberg' industrial monument. The former brewery, which was built in the mid-19th century, is nowadays a one-of-a-kind cultural centre with a very special atmosphere. Here you can explore galleries and discover the works of internationally recognized artists. You can relax in the historical beer garden or enjoy concerts and parties.

Pfefferbett Hostel combines 19th century industrial architecture on the outside with stylish design on the inside. We are especially proud of our impressive lobby with its original beamed vaulted ceilings.

We offer low-priced rooms with 6 or 8 beds with shared bathrooms on the corridor, rooms with 4 or 6 beds en suite as well as high-quality single and double rooms en suite with TV and telephone. Most rooms have historical vaulted ceilings. There are free lockers in every shared bedroom.

We have excellent transport links in the area. ‘Senefelder Platz' subway station (U2) is right around the corner. ‘Alexander Platz', for example, is only two subway stations away.

Major sights within walking distance Hackesche Hoefe: 15 min, Museum Island: 20 min and Alexander Platz with TV Tower: 15 min.

    New, clean and relatively cheap hostel located near many bars and pubs. Rooms are very clean, linnen is put on the bed before you arrive, there is a locker only your key can open in the room, and there is a light and electricity plug in your bed. Breakfast, lunch and dinner can be purchased in the hostel, seemed pretty nice although I didn't try it - there's plenty of stuff to eat and drink outside.

    I had really nice 2 days in Pfefferbett hostel. The staff was really helpfull, they helped me with information about everything that I asked about Berlin. The location is great,entrance to U-Bahn is across the street. Rooms were very clean, and the beds also, so I really couldn't find anything bad to say for this hostel. If I ever come back to Berlin, I will choose the Pfefferbett hostel again.

    clean but the toilets door is opening to the bed. that is not the thing that you want ;) but the breakfast is all you can eat and 5 €. so that is the best you can find in the city. you can play pool chess or chat on the shared computers. again wi-fi is not available in the rooms.

    Really good hostel! The place looks very clean, the rooms, toilets, the bar, all looks really new and clean. Very good breakfast, free Internet and a good location as well, next to the touristic area. One of the best hostels I've ever stayed at.

    The room was clean but the toilet and bathroom was dirty. Outdoor terrace just outside the room windows creates a lot of noise both night and morning. But your place is mainly for young people and not families with children, so it's OK. Nice surroundings!

    Well located next to the U-Bahn, and offers bicycle rental. Staff were wonderful, being friendly, accommodating and very helpful. Private room was clean, yet basic. Shower stops too frequently, after only 15-20 seconds. Need for more internet stations.
